One of the things I have associated with "fear of the Lord" is fearing to offend Him because He loves us. We don't ever want to hurt anyone we love, and if we truly love God with our heart, mind, body, and soul, we would be fearful (reluctant) to offend Him. Thank you for the perspective and the read!

Good read. The issue can also be viewed as "everyone has their own truth" so truth for you may not be truth for me, and the clash comes when the world has to figure out whose truth trumps all the rest.

I hope it helps others see some very stark differences between the Church that St.Pio grew up in and the faith he practiced, and the Church of our times and the faith that has sadly diminished.
