Everyone missed the point. Whole thing was a staged event to get people talking about the Academy Awards show that has steadily been losing viewership for a decade or more.

Perhaps people finally figured out that this stuff is presented in order to let us "peons" get a glimpse into the mega wonderful world of self-indulgent, no talent individuals who have sold their souls to the devil for fame and fortune.

The films made in this day and age are either badly produced remakes of some better movies from the distant past, or films that rely on AI/computer generation, or some other form of animation. If it does not send a woke message it probably won't make the final list of award contenders.

Wait for it. Long about January 2023 the clip of this "incident" will surface again only to entice viewership for the airing in Spring 2023.
