I agree with just about everything you wrote. I am a morning lark, so at the first hint of light (usually around 4:30 where I live even with seasonal changes), my brain is starting to crank into gear.

I love the quiet time, watching the daylight grow as I clutch my mug of hot coffee or tea. Like you on the other side of the circadian clock, I find I am more productive without the distractions that come later in the day.

Downside? I usually wind down by 10:30 at the latest, and sometimes six hours isn't quite enough; but I don't seem to be able to sleep much past that 4:30 point.
