The story goes that KC Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes paid the bills for all the tables in a restaurant where he and his girlfriend were eating. He and she had a quiet meal together and no one in the place came to their table, even though he is a recognizable person in KC. They ate and left without being bothered.

The patrons did not know their bills were paid until they left the restaurant. He simply wanted to express his gratitude for their consideration for his privacy.
