It all boils down to to what you consider wealth and working toward that goal. Might not be money. Might not be fame. In a sense it comes to choices.

Anyone who is willing to complain about their situation in life but will neither accept solutions to whatever they want to change when offered, or even sit down and reflect on how to make their situation better most likely just want to complain.

That is no disparagement on them. We are offered choices every minute of every day to do the things that support what we really want. There have been far too many people in this world who have done the positive (and yes, difficult) work it takes to build a life they want in spite of their challenges and circumstances. Likewise, there have been those who have been given much (those who were given "more dice") and squandered it all.
