Nice read. It all boils down, as you say, to whatever works for you -- even if you want to eat the same thing every day as long as it is balanced and provides the nutrition and calories to support your ADL.
Boredom is the elephant in the room. There are few who would sustain the same meals for more than a few days at a time. At some point we will crave something outside of our eating regimen.
Nothing wrong with that, correct? Sometimes our body tell us what it needs. I would just not recommend going out to the lawn and grazing on grass and dirt.
