Make no mistake. He uses the saccharine-coated "best wishes" and other forms of non-aggressive language as a way to subtly undercut the points made by those who wrote emails to him. His other tactics you highlight are totally fake. He has no respect for those in opposition. Anything counter to his narrative is craftily deflected, but to those who study words, know that they have meaning and they have power.

Read the emails from John Podesta? Fauci is good; but Podesta is the master of subtle nastiness.
