Thank you! Once again the Holy Spirit moved me to this piece just when I needed to "take a moment". The battle, in some ways, is also to destroy those vices within us that keep us from growing in virtue. I have come to understand that the Prayer of St. Michael, which I say daily, is not just a prayer asking for some help in the future (like in the Apocalypse); it is rather a call for his help to defend us from the "snares of the devil" that lay in wait to trap us each day.
