Whatever happened to just being American? The entire Constitution is a document of less than 15 pages depending on the font size, and it is pretty clear what the responsibilities for each branch are. The Bill of Rights further clarifies what the government can and cannot do. Somehow we have drifted away from all of this and the result is a country divided. A place where political success is determined by a "playbook" and "strategies". A place where slogans and marketing have replaced honest conversation about what we do to ensure America is strong for the generations.
